Welcome to the North American Headquarters for Grandmaster William Cheung’s World Wing Chun Kung Fu Association. The focus of Wing Chun Kung Fu is to develop physical, mental and spiritual awareness. These elements transcend you to a higher level of life. Self-awareness, self-respect, and a duty to serve should be the goal of life in every martial artist. Meditate on these principles and make peace on your study of Kung Fu, a way of life.

Wing Chun is a traditional Chinese martial art originating more than 300 years ago in southern China by the Buddhist nun Ngi Mui. The techniques that makeup Wing Chun primarily come from two animal styles of Shaolin Kung Fu; Snake and Crane. It is a swift and precise close range form of combat that disables and nullifies opponents with proper structure and alignment of the body to land devastating blows.

Traditional Wing Chun, is a specific lineage of Wing Chun deriving from Grandmaster Yip Man who passed the title of Grandmaster down to William Cheung.

In the 1980s, Grandmaster Cheung was touring all over the United States. When visiting the Northeast, he encountered plenty of promising students to share his Wing Chun with. In the year 1983, a young student named Keith Mazza began to study under Grandmaster Cheung and joined him on his journey to spread the Kung Fu around the globe. Mazza would then go on to train personally under Grandmaster Cheung, become a world champion fighter, a master of the art, and become William’s first-ever closed-door student.

Master Mazza now teaches at the Traditional Wing Chun Kung Fu Acadamy in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. He is a seasoned fighter and martial artist who offers a variety of martial arts and health classes for all ages and people. Master Mazza is notorious for his caring nature and desire to make his students practical and efficient martial artists. He is regarded highly in the martial arts world and is always willing to lend a helping hand to those willing to learn.
