In this Workshop we will teach you how to properly apply the Karambit in close quarter combatives or CQB applications.

The Workshop will cover:

• Capture and destroy.
• Grip, Flail, Slash and Thrust
• The Loaded Fist (how to use the ring feature on the Karambit)
• Disarm and Lacerate

If you do not have a Karambit training knife, you can use a regular training knife, which we will have available at the Workshop.

This Workshop will cover Wing Chun Kung Fu’s approach to mobility.  These exercises can be practiced solo and with a partner to develop proper reaction of movements.  The striking distance we will be focusing on will be the elbows, being the closest to the body in Wing Chun and the legs which can reach the furthest from the body.

The Workshop will cover:

·      Wu Sao blocking and elbow limb destruction.

·      Flowing combinations between elbows.

·      Simultaneous coordination with arms & jams with legs & kicking.

·      Mobility & displacement.

·      Defense against low attacks and leg jams.

The Workshop will cover: 

• Short range power techniques.
• How to condition your arms on the Wooden Dummy.
• Conditioning techniques.
• How to use the Wooden Dummy to help develop your iron palm.
• Flow drills.
• Develop strong kicks.
• Specific drills to enhance your forward pressure training.
• How to train the Wooden Dummy to enhance your stamina and improve your overall fighting techniques.
